I utilize an integrative approach to support and encourage the healing process based on individual needs and goals. As a person-centered therapist, I enjoy working collaboratively with the client to create a plan for sustainable, positive changes that increase resiliency and improve quality of life. I operate from a trauma-informed lens and integrate a variety of modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Motivational Interviewing to cultivate changes that align with your own vision for growth and healing. It is my belief that every person deserves to live a life that feels secure and fulfilling. Together we can explore the barriers that may be preventing you from being fully present and finding peace.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in the outpatient and inpatient setting, as well as working with youth in foster care and students/families in the school setting. Because of my experience working in special education and school counseling, I am passionate about supporting caregivers who may be struggling to navigate the complexities of raising a child with disabilities.
Other specialty areas that I enjoy working with are: Adults with ADHD/ASD, Parenting and Family Conflict, Spiritual Exploration (including meditation and somatic-based experiences), Career Counseling, Deployment Support/Military Life, Couples Counseling
ADHD & Autism
Veterans and Military Families
